1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using directory.licensedbreeder.co.uk (the “Site”) you agree to be bound by these terms of use (the “Terms”). If you do not accept them, you must not use the Site.

2. About us

The Site is operated by Licensed Breeder Directory Ltd (“we”, “us”). We are registered in England & Wales under company number 13582390 with our registered office at 12 Jordan Street, Liverpool. L1 0AH. Our contact email is hello[@]licensedbreeder.co.uk.

3. Our Service

The Site is an online directory that publishes factual information about UK dog breeders (“Listings”). We are not a breeding establishment, broker or marketplace; we neither vet nor endorse any breeder or Listing.

4. Accuracy & Licensing Disclaimer

We aim to keep Listings accurate and current, but we rely on information provided by breeders and public sources. You must verify a breeder’s licence and credentials with the relevant local authority before contacting the business. We accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on a Listing.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

use the Site only for lawful, personal purposes;

not scrape, harvest or reuse Listings for commercial gain without our written consent;

not post or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringes third‑party rights;

not interfere with the Site’s security or attempt unauthorised access.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual‑property rights in the Site and its contents (excluding breeder‑supplied photos and text) belong to us or our licensors. You may view, download and print pages for personal use only. “Licensed Breeder Directory” and our logo are trade marks; you may not use them without permission.

7. User‑generated content

If you submit reviews, comments or other material (“UGC”) you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to use, reproduce and display that UGC on the Site and in promotional material. You warrant that you own or control all rights in any UGC you provide and that it complies with these Terms.

8. Third‑party links

The Site may contain links to external websites. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility or liability for them.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, all implied warranties are excluded and we will not be liable for loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to £100.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Changes take effect immediately for new users and 30 days after notice for existing users.
